Chisholm Trail Section 6
Project Overview:
Section 6 of the Chisholm Trail Parkway consists of extending State Highway 121 (Chisholm Trail) from Fort Worth, Texas, south 13.1 miles, to Cleburne, Texas. The $182M design-build project includes a divided two-lane tollway with passing lanes, ramps at proposed cross streets, and 19 bridges. The Design-Build project provided turnkey delivery of the $182 million Section 6 of the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
Services Performed by Team Members from 1836:
- Served as Independent Quality Firm Manager (IQFM) responsible for all QA
- Reviewed shop drawings, work drawings, and specifications and made recommendations
- Testing and Inspection of drainage elements, illumination, striping and signage, electronic tolling, intelligent transportation systems, fencing, utility relocation, guard rails, and landscaping.
- Cross-trained Inspectors and Technicians to be utilized in both roles
