Other info: Description: This greenfield project involves the construction of 8 toll lanes from US 380 to FM 428. It also includes widening the frontage road, making city street improvements, building 7 new overpasses, and installing cast-in-place retaining walls, signage, illumination, and pavement markings. 1836 Engineering is currently providing 2 full-time inspectors for this greenfield project. One inspector is responsible for inspecting structures for bridges elements (drilled shafts, columns, caps and bridge decks). The additional inspector is observing all dirt work, drainage and utility works throughout the project. We are also providing material testing for all soils, concrete and HMAC materials. The 1836 Engineering management team provides support to the project manager in reviewing all concrete and hotmix designs.
